ABOUT THE ARTIST
Morgen Weinstein (he/him/his) is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, poet, and designer from Southern California.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology/Archaeology from Barnard College in 2020, graduating magna cum laude with departmental honors. He went on to earn his MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University in 2023.
Morgen’s work focuses on themes of mortality, history, family dynamics, hauntings, and transformations. He has received acclaim for their lucid and penetrating authorship on transgender, Jewish-American, and neurodivergent identity.
His inspirations range from Edward Gorey, Craig Thompson, and Em Carroll to J.R.R. Tolkien, Will Eisner, Anne Carson, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Moebius (Jean Giraud), and Alison Bechdel.
Morgen’s passion is in creating “rich and strange” worlds of mystery, horror, and exquisite beauty, in which to set extraordinary human stories.
